Hurricane Booking Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 21, 2026

This policy explains how Hurricane Industries LLC("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when a business or its team members use Hurricane Booking(the "service"). It covers the businesses and people who create and operate Hurricane Booking accounts. Each business is separately responsible for its own customers' data and maintains its own privacy policy for those customers.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information — name, email, phone number, and login identity for you and your team members.
  • Business information — your business name, hours, services, team, FAQs, and settings you enter.
  • Booking and customer information — appointments, and the customer contacts and notes you add to the service.
  • Call content — recordings and transcripts of calls handled by the AI receptionist, used to book appointments and provide the service to you.
  • Google account data — when you connect Google Calendar, the data described in section 3.
  • Usage and technical data — logs and diagnostics needed to run and secure the service.

2. How we use information

We use this information to provide, operate, secure, and improve Hurricane Booking: to answer your calls, book and manage appointments, sync your calendar, send appointment messages you enable, bill your account, and provide support. We do not sell your information.

3. Google user data (Google Calendar)

When a team member connects Google Calendar, Hurricane Bookingrequests access to that person's Google Calendar so it can provide the scheduling features. Specifically we:

  • Read free/busy times to work out when the person is available;
  • Create, update, move, and cancel calendar events for booked appointments;
  • Share the connected calendar with our service account so bookings continue to sync.

We access this Google Calendar data only to provide these user-facing scheduling features. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. Human access to Google user data is limited to what is necessary to operate and support the feature, to comply with applicable law, or with your explicit consent.

Hurricane Booking's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from a team member's page in the dashboard, which stops Hurricane Booking from reading or writing that calendar. You can also revoke access directly in your Google Account permissions.

4. How we share information

We share information only with service providers who help us run Hurricane Booking, each acting on our behalf and limited to what they need:

  • Google — calendar sync (for connected calendars).
  • Twilio — phone calls and text messaging.
  • OpenAI — the AI receptionist that handles calls.
  • Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.
  • Cloud hosting and email delivery providers used to run the service.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a business transfer, consistent with this policy. We do not sell personal information.

5. Text messaging (SMS) and mobile opt-in

A business using Hurricane Booking may send text messages to its own customers who have opted in — for example appointment confirmations, reschedule or cancellation notices, appointment approval and secure card-on-file links, and occasional promotional messages. Customers opt in by providing their mobile number and agreeing to receive texts (for example when booking by phone or in person), and can reply STOP at any time to opt out or HELP for assistance. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.

Mobile opt-in information and consent are never shared with or sold to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. A customer's phone number and SMS consent are used only to deliver the messages that customer opted in to, through our messaging provider (Twilio). No other category of data sharing described in this policy includes text-messaging opt-in data.

6. Data retention

We keep account, booking, and call data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, meet legal or billing obligations, and resolve disputes. Google Calendar data is not stored beyond what is needed to sync your bookings; we retain references (such as an event id and the connected calendar id) so appointments stay in sync, not the contents of your calendar. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data by contacting support@hurricaneindustries.co.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and secure storage of credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.

8. Your choices

You can review and update your business and account information in the dashboard, disconnect Google Calendar at any time, and request deletion of your account. Team members can manage their own profile and calendar connection.

9. Children

Hurricane Booking is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version, and continued use after an update means you accept it. Questions about this policy or your data can be directed to support@hurricaneindustries.co.
